The Docker team is gearing up for another great KubeCon this year in San Diego, November 17-21. As a Platinum sponsor of this year’s event, we are excited to bring Docker employees, community members and Docker captains together to demonstrate and celebrate the combined impact of Docker and Kubernetes.
Stop by Booth P37 to learn how to leverage the Docker platform to securely build, share and run modern applications for any Kubernetes environment. We will demonstrate Docker Desktop Enterprise and how it accelerates container application development while supporting developer choice. Experts will be on hand to answer questions about Docker Kubernetes Services (DKS), a secure and production-ready Kubernetes environment. Or come to learn more about Docker’s contributions to Kubernetes while picking up some great Docker swag.
KubeCon will also provide a great opportunity to learn from industry experts and hear from people who run production applications on Kubernetes. Here’s a helpful guide from the Docker team of our recommended talks:

DockerCon 2019 is coming soon to San Francisco and and we’ve significantly improved your DockerCon experience based on your feedback. If you haven’t reserved your spot, head over to register today.
After each conference, our team goes through all of your feedback and brainstorms adjustments big and small to make sure DockerCon remains a special experience for you. To everyone that filled out the event survey – thank you! We know it can seem tedious but we appreciate the feedback.
With that in mind, we wanted to share some of the new changes you’ll see in San Francisco:
DockerCon is back and better than ever as we welcome our developer community to this year’s DockerCon in San Francisco (June 12-15, 2018)! It doesn’t matter if you’re new to Docker, or an old hand at Dockerizing your applications. For developers, DockerCon is the best place to learn about bringing Docker to your applications.
This year at DockerCon, you have the opportunity to choose the content and create an agenda that is based on your role and where you’re at in your containerization journey. We know you’ll want to choose carefully, so here’s some things to consider.
Whether you’re developing modern microservices applications or are looking for ways to modernize your existing applications, DockerCon will teach you about new features and capabilities, container best practices, containerization strategies and innovative ways to use containers such as serverless apps, using a service mesh, and incorporating machine learning.
For many developers, the best way to learn is hands-on. Our Hands-On Labs and workshops will give you practical knowledge. And our breakout sessions will introduce you to new concepts and ideas on how to incorporate Docker into your enterprise workflow.
DockerCon can show you how Docker can solve the most pressing problems, both for Continue reading
DockerCon is the premier container conference where the IT industry comes together to learn, belong, and collaborate on the different phases of the containerization journey. This year, we’re focusing on helping our 6,000+ attendees define their containerization journeys. Whether you’re a developer just getting started with Docker or an Enterprise systems architect ready to scale and innovate, at DockerCon we’ll help you map out and implement a containerization strategy for you, your team and your company.
Throughout the four days, you’ll have the chance to design your own DockerCon journey – selecting from 7 different breakout session tracks, a collection of free hands-on labs and workshops, and our peer to peer networking Hallway Track.
This year at DockerCon we’re designing our conference around the containerization journey and providing opportunities for our attendees to create tailored learning and networking experiences for their particular needs.
We’ve identified four stages of the containerization journey that will be present at DockerCon 2018:
The event program is designed to be a “choose your own adventure,” allowing every attendee to find the content, people, trainings, and labs that are right for them. Maybe you’re new to the Docker platform and are looking for more information on Continue reading

The DockerCon Hallway Track is coming to DockerCon Europe in Copenhagen. We’ve partnered with e180.co once again to deliver the next level of conference attendee networking. Together, we believe that education is a relationship, not an institution, and that a conversation can change someone’s life. After the success of our collaboration in Austin with Moby Mingle, we’re happy to be growing this idea further for Copenhagen.
DockerCon is all about learning new things and connecting with the right people. The Hallway Track will help you meet and share knowledge with community members and practitioners at the conference.
So, what’s a Hallway Track?
DockerCon Hallway Track is a one-on-one or group conversations based on topics of interest that you schedule with other attendees during DockerCon. Hallway Track’s recommendation algorithm curates an individualized selection of Hallway Track topics for each participant, based on their behavior and interests.
It’s simple:
It’s that moment you’ve been waiting for…It’s time to build your DockerCon Agenda!
DockerCon is coming back to Europe with some of the best content we’ve ever presented. Don’t miss out and register now before it’s too late. If you are just learning about Docker or have been dabbling in containers for a while, we’re confident that DockerCon will have the right content for you. DockerCon week is a busy week with so much information to absorb, people to meet and talks to attend. Here’s a quick agenda summary to make sure you know how to plan your travel and get the most out of your DockerCon Europe experience in Copenhagen.
Monday is when the first attendees start arriving for DockerCon. Attendees who have signed up for Paid-Workshops or want to check in and pick up their badge and backpacks early should plan to be in Copenhagen by Monday morning. Monday is also a great day to get a jump start on meeting other attendees. You’ll be able to book Moby Mingles that help you connect with other attendees on topics you are both interested in learning or mentoring about.
Overview of Monday:
Tuesday and Wednesday are full conference days. Each morning starts with a General Session presented by the Docker team and guest speakers to present the latest product announcements and use cases. Following the general sessions Continue reading
If you’re pumped about all the things you learn and all the people you meet at Docker events, you’re going to love what we have planned for you at this year’s DockerCon! With more than 5000 attendees, there will be a wealth of knowledge in the room, ready to be shared, explored and cultivated. This year we’re going to draw on the power of the DockerCon crowd to open-source the attendee experience and bring the focus of the conference back to our users. Every attendee has different experiences, backgrounds, and interests to share. The trick becomes finding the right individual, with the specific knowledge you’re looking for.
So we’re excited to give everyone at DockerCon access to a tool called #MobyMingle to connect with people who share the same Docker use cases, topic of interests or hack ideas, or even your favorite TV shows. So no matter where you’re traveling from or how many people you know before the conference, we will make sure you end up feeling at home!
Using a web based platform, you’re able to build a profile, set goals around what you want to get out of Dockercon, and then make Offers and Requests to help Continue reading
