How to bring back a physical Escape key on the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar

Apple showcased its new MacBook Pro on Thursday and demonstrated the new Touch Bar, an OLED touchbar across the top of the keyboard that replaces the function keys. The Touch Bar can be customized to suit the app that your Mac is currently running. The problem is that you may not have instant access to one of the most important keys on your Mac: The Escape (esc) key.The esc key isn't completely gone. If the Touch Bar is in another mode, you can hold down the fn key on the lower left of the keyboard. Apple releases another iOS 10 beta

Did you install the recently-released iOS 10 beta (version 6 for developers, Public Beta 5 for anyone in the Apple Public Beta Program? Well, it’s time again to update it. Apple on Friday released iOS 10 beta 7 for developers, and iOS 10 Public Beta 6 for beta testers in the general public.The update is available by running Software Update in the Settings app. Since it’s only a 60MB download, this update is probably filled with bug fixes and optimizations. Apple reveals macOS Sierra with Siri, Apple Pay, and other new features

Don’t call it OS X anymore, and if you do, Siri will probably correct you. Apple unveiled on Monday at its 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference that the Mac operating system is now called macOS, and the next version will feature the Siri vocal interface and digital assistant.Siri is the headline feature in what will be macOS Sierra. As had been rumored, a new Siri icon will be accessible in the Dock; clicking on it will launch a Siri window that iOS users will be familiar with. During the macOS Siri demo at WWDC, Apple VP Craig Federighi used Siri to find files and followed up the search to refine the results. Apple confirms WWDC June 13-17, opens registration for ticket lottery

After Siri provided a sneak peek at the dates for Apple’s 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference, the Cupertino-based company confirmed the event by launching its WWDC 2016 website. WWDC starts on Monday, June 13, and runs throughout the week until Friday, June 17. WWDC actually takes place at two venues. Monday, the day of the keynote, will be at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The rest of the week will be at Moscone West, where WWDCs in recent past have been held.
